I am an accomplished permanent makeup artist. Before I entered the world of Permanent Makeup, I wanted to meet the best artists in the field so I would set a high standard for myself. I observed Athena doing a "full lip" procedure. I was so impressed with her work that I have strived for the past 11 years to produce work like hers. Very recently I had the opportunity of consulting with her and once again I found her warm and welcoming. Turns out that she did know the answer I had been looking for. I needed to hear it from someone who could articulate it. My extensive training and experience told me that she was right. After my lesson with Athena I connected the link. The light came on. She reminded me that this not science. It is an at and a process to produce a lovely final look. As artists we deal with complicated and changing things that we adapt to and work around.
